Road Trip - Day 2

Breakfast at Waffle House.  The journey continues with a visit to Rick & Judy's business for a cup of great coffee then on to a car wash for the first time ever I have washed the manvan.

Have a customer nearby, Valley Asphalt - so I stopped to meet my contact there face-to-face.

Road Trip

On the road south to visit with and renew friendships.  A few pictures including starting at the Coffee Jam for a nice hot cup through the blowing snow, pickup goods for delivery at Mothers, then off to the Cincinnati, OH area.

My choice to go to Minnesota is now second guessed by the trip I missed, here in Michigan. Always next year.....

Retrospect

For the time being I will remain blogless......Until such time as the fire is stoked again.  I will return to the north country in mere days, whereby the motivation to report on the journey will be picked up once again.

It's close, but my vote goes to the BB curve, 2.0 pixels over the motoq 1.3. Although, I could have made the motoq a little darker, it does seem more grainy. Both are still relatively putrid as far a camera quality goes, but they do the job in a pinch.

I will endeavor to try this worthy test again. I am considering an upgrade to the new Blackberry Tour, which has a 3.0 pixel camera. Not that I am 1 or even 2 steps ahead of any worthwhile photographer, I do like clear crisp pictures, no matter what I use to take them, my cellphone (spur of moment) or my Nikon Coolpix S550.

Random picture - take 2

Quality check for picture taken with the motoq. 1.3 pixels vs. 2.0 with the Blackberry curve. You be the judge....

Random picture

A random picture from blackberry camera. More or less to look at the quality of this compared to the motoq.

A group of bikers from nearby Montreal, Quebec stopped for a break and to catch the view. They were bound for Sturgis, SD and beyond. Bon Voyage, mon ami's.
First we had to gain our hunger feelings with a little exercise. Off on a trip west on U.S. 2, to walk the beach at a small campground area. We all decided that it would be a nice area to camp at on the next trip up. The water was v e r y chilly. Had it been in the 80's it would have been a nice dip in the pond.

The very top of the bridge, the mighty Mackinac. This journey takes us to the U.P. and a lunch stop. What a view - never get tired of it after all the many times over and back.

Just keep walking..........1 mile to go.....
A much needed breakfast at a popular spot. I made the "kids" walk to this joint, complete with uttered complaints, which I paid no attention to. Actually, the joint stopped serving breakfast after 11:30 so it turned into brunch.

I admit the walk was too much for my feet in flip-flops, I now have blisters to attend to. Our next objective is to decide whether to venture to the Island, weather is pending rain and cool temps.
Mission Mackinaw City ---- Supposed to have rain all day and in the 60's.... I see the sun poking through.... The big question is to go to the island today or wait until tomorrow when more sun is forecasted.

WARNING.........first time blogger with nothing to say. I do indeed intend on continuing to say nothing.
